Calendar Change for June Scout Expo

It has come to our attention that the date listed on our online calendar & Troop Program Guide for the June Camporee was incorrect.  The correct dates are Friday May 31 – June 2nd.  I have updated our calendar page with the correct dates at www.t2020.org 

Mike Litwinka 5k postponed to September 29th

In case you missed the announcement, the Mike Litwinka 5K has been postponed to September 29th.  For those who may have already paid/registered, your registration will be transferred to the new date.  More info to come when we get closer.

Reminder – John’s Eagle project work beginning 5/5

Help John begin the work required for his Eagle project!  Work begins on 5/5 at the Elks Lodge from 1 – 3.  Please come prepared to work!

Website is down at the moment

I was trying to fix something on our troop website this morning and unfortunately made things worse.  I took the site offline for now.  If I can’t get it fixed shortly I’ll put my backup copy (with the old menu format) back up tonight.  Thanks in advance for your patience. 

Reminder: This week’s activities

Reminder that there is no meeting this week 4/18 due to school vacation.  

Instead, we will see you @ 1:00PM on 4/21 at the Elks for our brush/leaf cleanup.  Remember to bring rakes & gloves and come ready to work.

New website format

Since we have a lot of content building up on our site, I’ve been working on a new meu format to make it (hopefully) easier to navigate around the site.  I’ve tested the new menu in a few browsers and it looks like it’s working.  Please take a look at www.t2020.org and let me know if you have any issues.  I have the original site as a backup if the new menu is giving people issues.  

April 21, Leaf Cleanup at the Elks

Sunday April 21st is leaf cleanup at the Elks.  Sarting at 1:00PM, with a good turnout we should be done by 5:00.  Bring your gloves & rakes.  This is our chance to give back to the Elks who do a lot for our Troop, so please make time to be there.

Missing handbook has been found

Thanks for the replies on our Facebook page.  Mark´s handbook is no longer missing.  🙂

Missing handbook

Mark Boyer left his scout handbook at the meeting last night.  If anyone happened to pick it up after the meeting could you please reply to the post and let us know?
