Our new mandatory participation Troop fundraiser is running a concession stand at Gampel Pavilion UConn men’s basketball games.
Each scout, or the scout’s parent/guardian, will need to sign up for a minimum of one of the following games. Note: Scouts must be 16 years old to sign up.
Wednesday, January 29 @ 7:00 PM
Sunday, February 9 @ Noon
Sunday, February 23 @ 2:00 PM
Thursday, March 5 @ 7:00 PM

Additional Details:
Total time commitment for volunteer is 5 hours-5.5 hours
Total time commitment for group leader is 6 hours-6.5 hours
Pay to park at South garage across from Gampel or park for free at the Ice lot which is located next to the Mark Edward Freitas Hockey arena (I-Lot) and walk up to Gampel Pavilion.
The group is responsible for counting all inventory before and after the game. Your Cash and Credit should match what inventory you sold or spoiled at the end of the game within .5%.
The group is responsible to clean the stand and return all equipment to the original location where they found it.
The group leader needs to send a list of volunteers 12 hours before each game so UConn has a list at the entrance for the group to check off as they come in. They will enter the SOUTH ent rance of Gampel Pavilion and check with security.

There will be a holiday party for the scouts on Thursday 12/19. The scouts can come to the Elks as early as 6:00 PM. We will be making pizzas for them. The troop will supply the dough, sauce, cheese, and cooks. Please have your scout bring any special toppings he would like and a $15 wrapped gift. Also, please feel free to send a dessert to share with your scout.
