There are currently 3 Options to deposit your collection of Returnables:
- Option 1 (Preferred) – Drop-off; your returnables at the Rockville Elks Lodge 1359, Carriage House Basement Garage (all the way down around the back) Collection & Sorting Operations on Saturday between 9:00 AM and noon.
- Option 2 (by request) – Pick-up; Send an email to t2020ct@gmail.com with your local residential address; put your collection of returnables outside by 9:00 AM, and they will be picked up Saturday before Noon.
- Option 3 (scheduled) – Bulk, Towns other than Vernon / Ellington, other special circumstances; Send an email to t2020ct@gmail.com with your address & any other contact information in order to have a pick-up scheduled outside of our set day.
Rhode Island Permission Slip (5/18-5/19)
The permission slip is available for the Rhode Island bike trip (Saturday 5/18 – Sunday 5/19). Permission slips and payments are due at the troop meeting on Thursday 5/9.

Departure: Saturday 8:00 AM from the Elks
Return: Sunday afternoon

Troop/Patrol Cooking: Troop Cooking (Going out for pizza for dinner Saturday, cold breakfast Sunday morning)
Tent/Cabin/Lean-to: Tent
Duffel Bag/Backpack: Duffel Bag AND Daypack (Bring a bagged lunch for Saturday)
Cost: $15 – Plus money for lunch on the way home and spending money for shops

Bikes need to be brought to the Troop meeting on Thursday 5/9 for inspection.
Don’t forget a helmet! No helmet = no bike ride!

Reminder: Summer Camp 2024
The cost for summer camp this year will be $400 for scouts and $150 for leaders. The full payment and shirt size are due to the Troop (Steve/Emily Westerberg) by Thursday, April 25th.
Please also make plans to have the health forms completed by the end of June. Last year’s physical is sufficient for the JNW forms – you do not need to wait until this year’s physical.
Scouts will hear about merit badge selection at an upcoming meeting.
