A rainy Monday and no school =  A Perfect phone book bagging day

A friendly forecast update.  It looks like Monday is going to be a rainy day. 

Tomorrow afternoon would be a great time to pick up your routes and books (it may rain in the morning).

If you are delivering phone books they are here and ready to pick up.

While I am at the Camporee my wife MaryBeth (860-338-0076) is the point of contact. She will be home most of the time.

Please note:

• The lists have been pre-assigned and she has them
• You will need a tracker unit (as in the past) – she has them
• Bags – each box contains 1,000 – she has them
• The lists must be completed and returned to me by the 22nd.

Copy of the front and back of your insurance card if your son is going to Hebron

Late breaking news (your son may have informed you last night).  If your son will be camping at the Hebron Camporee please have them bring a copy of your insurance card front and back.

If you do not have access to copier, you can take a picture and print it them.

If you or your Scout will be attending the Hebron Camporee

1. Per the request of the council, EVERYONE attending must also complete a medical form which can be found here. It does not require a Dr’s signature.  Please bring the completed form to Thursday’s meeting.
2. Scouts need to bring their Class A uniforms.
3. There will be a LOT of things to do and a LOT of vendors.  BRING APPROPRIATE SPENDING MONEY.
4. Everyone should pack in duffle bags along with the their sleeping bags on Friday night.
5. We will be departing from the Elks Lodge this Friday at 6PM.

Yankee Candle Fundraiser due

Yankee Candle Fundraiser Important info Wanted to remind everyone that the forms along with the collected money are due on October 12. There are no extensions, sorry.

Gabi will be at the troop meeting on October 12, the beginning only!!!  If you cannot be at that meeting, please arrange a dropoff time with me before October 12. The profits will go to each scout’s personal account. When shopping online, remind buyers to put the scout’s name they are shopping from, so that scout can get credit for it.
