THANK YOU, to our very supportive community! We have settled into a regular schedule now, and have many Regular Customers!

There are currently 3 Options to deposit your collection of Returnables:

• Option 1 (Preferred) – Drop-off; your returnables at the Rockville Elks Lodge 1359, Carriage House Basement Garage (all the way down around the back) Collection & Sorting Operations on Saturday between 9:00 AM and noon.
• Option 2 (by request) – Pick-up; Send an email to t2020ct@gmail.com with your local residential address; put your collection of returnables outside by 9:00 AM, and they will be picked up Saturday before Noon.
• Option 3 (scheduled) – Bulk, Towns other than Vernon / Ellington, other special circumstances; Send an email to t2020ct@gmail.com with your address & any other contact information in order to have a pick-up scheduled outside of our set day.

Reminder: Scout Holiday Party Tomorrow

There will be a holiday party for the scouts on Thursday 12/22. The scouts can come to the Elks as early as 6:00 PM. Please have them wear Class B. We will be making pizzas for them. The troop will supply the dough, sauce, cheese, and cooks. Please have your scout bring any special toppings he would like and a $15-20 wrapped gift. Also, please feel free to send a dessert to share with your scout.

Otis Ridge Permission Slip (1/20-1/22)

The permission slip is available for the Otis Ridge ski trip (Friday 1/20 – Sunday 1/22). Permission slips and payments are due at the troop meeting on Thursday 1/12. We need a minimum of 10, including adults, to sign up.

Date: Friday 01/20/2023 – Sunday 01/22/2023

Departure: Friday 5:30 PM from the Elks

Return: Sunday around noon

I am so excited to be heading this fundraiser and I know we are going to have a funtastic time spreading holiday cheer while raising money for our Troop! Join local BSA Troop 2020 for Pancakes with Santa! Tickets are $8 each, children under 2 are free. Menu includes pancakes, sausage, juice, coffee and tea. This fundraiser is to support BSA Troop 2020 making it possible for boys to participate in local scouting and go on campouts! Click on link to purchase tickets now. Committee Meeting – Tuesday 11/29 @ 7:30 PM

There is a committee meeting at Bill Magnotta’s house (53 Marjorie Lane in Vernon) on Tuesday, November 29th at 7:30 PM.

Canceled: Elks Leaf Clean Up

The Elks completed the leaf clean up today and do not need the Scouts’ assistance tomorrow. They will let us know when they have a future project for us.
