Annual Dues & Court Of Honor

Annual Dues: $100 and are due as soon as possible. They can be brought to the Court of Honor. Checks should be made out to Troop 20/20.

We are also asking registered adult leaders to consider donating $60 to cover their registration fee with Council, normally covered by the Troop.

We do not want to deny anyone the Scouting experience due to financial reasons, so we will confidentially work with any families in need.

Court of Honor: Thursday, September 30th @ 7:00 PM – Masks, social distancing, pre-checklist questionnaire, and no food please.

Patrol Leaders’ Council (PLC) Meeting – Tuesday 9/28 @ 7:15 PM – 8:15 PM

There is a Patrol Leaders’ Council (PLC) meeting at Bill Magnotta’s house (53 Marjorie Lane in Vernon) on Tuesday, September 28th at 7:15 PM – 8:15 PM. Masks, social distancing, pre-checklist questionnaire, and no food sharing please.

Volunteers Needed: Elks Soccer Shoot (9/25)

The Rockville Elks BPOE 1359 is looking for community service volunteers to assist with their annual Soccer Shoot on Saturday, September 25th from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at VCMS. Volunteers Needed: Cub Scout Pack 221 Joining Night (9/21)

Volunteers needed to help at the Cub Scout Pack 221 Joining Night on Tuesday, September 21st from 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM at the American Legion. Please click here for the flyer. They would like some volunteer Boy Scouts/Leaders to lead games and help with the water bottle rocket launcher. They would also like to have tent demos and maybe pinewood derby demos. Please email t2020ct@gmail.com before this Thursday’s Troop meeting if you are able to help so that the volunteers can prepare during this week’s meeting.

Volunteers Needed: Tonight (9/10) @ 5:30 PM

The Elks is looking for help tonight (9/10) starting at 5:30 PM to set up for their Ride for Gage event that will be held on Saturday. They could use help setting up the tent, outdoor tables and chairs, wrapping silverware, and shucking corn. They may also need help on Sunday with breakdown. We’ll let you know once we have the time for that. Also, the monthly returnable beverage containers collection will be ending early at 11:00 AM on Saturday due to the arrival of the motorcycles for the event.

Tonight’s Set Up At The Elks Is Cancelled

Tonight’s set up at the Elks is cancelled due to the weather. We’ll keep you posted if they need help tomorrow night instead. The troop meeting is still on for 7pm.

THANK YOU, to our very supportive community! We have settled into a regular schedule now, and have many Regular Customers!

There are currently 3 Options to deposit your collection of Returnables:

• Option 1 (Preferred) – Drop-off; your returnables at the Rockville Elks Lodge 1359, Carriage House Basement Garage (all the way down around the back) Collection & Sorting Operations on Saturday between 9:00 AM and noon.
• Option 2 (by request) – Pick-up; Send an email to t2020ct@gmail.com with your local residential address; put your collection of returnables outside by 9:00 AM, and they will be picked up Saturday before Noon.
• Option 3 (scheduled) – Bulk, Towns other than Vernon / Ellington, other special circumstances; Send an email to t2020ct@gmail.com with your address & any other contact information in order to have a pick-up scheduled outside of our set day.
