Committee Meeting & Scout Leaders Meeting – Tuesday 2/26 @ 7:30 PM

There is a committee meeting and a scout leaders meeting at Bill Magnotta’s house (53 Marjorie Lane) on Tuesday 2/26 at 7:30 PM.

Reminder: Summer Camp Deposits Due Tomorrow (2/21)

In order to get early bird pricing, scout must pay $50 deposit by February 21. There is a fee of $25 for late payment (determined by the Council, not our troop!). The Summer Camp Info page of our Troop’s website has been updated for 2018/2019.

They are at McDonald’s. The troop will be back to the Elks around 2:15 PM.

Summer Camp

Hi everyone,
It’s that time of year again, when we need to sign up for summer camp. Our troop is going week 6, which is Aug 4-Aug 10.
In order to get early bird pricing, scout must pay $50 deposit by February 21. There is a fee of $25 for late payment (determined by the Council, not our troop!).
The remaining balance must be paid by May 2. There is a $50 fee for late payments (again, determined by the Council).
For boys that go to more than 1 week of camp, same time deadlines apply. For 2nd week campers, parents need to register the boys online as such. The troop will register the boys for the troop week only.
Families in need can start applying for campership now.
When this year’s medical forms become available,  I will let you know.

Black Rock Update

Food is being purchased for Black Rock so we are not accepting any more permission slips. For the scouts that have already signed up there will be a mandatory pack and boot check at tomorrow night’s troop meeting. All other scouts are welcome to participate if they would like to practice cold weather packing. Click here for the Troop 20/20 Campout Packing List.

The permission slip is available for the Black Rock trip (Saturday 2/16 – Monday 2/18). Permission slips and payment are due at the 2/7 troop meeting. Your scout will also need spending money for the West Point souvenir shop and lunch at McDonald’s on the way home.

Help Needed Sorting Cans & Bottles This Saturday

Help needed sorting our cans and bottles in the Elks garage this Saturday, January 26th at 9:30 AM.

Reminder: Cans & Bottles Fundraiser

The new troop fundraiser has started. We are collecting cans & bottles. Please have your family reach out to relatives, friends, neighbors, etc. to have them donate their cans & bottles to the troop. Please bring the cans & bottles you collect to a troop meeting. If possible, please sort the cans and plastic bottles in separate tied up garbage bags and put the glass bottles in cardboard boxes, 6 pack carriers or 4 pack carriers.
