Last minute Summer Camp Reminder

Lake George Camp Out

I’m sorry to announce that we were not able to get enough adults to join the campout this weekend so the Lake George trip us being canceled. 

Lake George Camp Out

Bill Buller is asking for a parent/leader to contact him about going on this weekend’s campout as a chaperone.  With many graduation activities going on that weekend, so far, Bill is the only adult going.  There are 12 boys who signed up.
 
Bill needs another Adult to volunteer by Wednesday, or we’ll have to cancel the trip.
 
The group leaves on Friday at Noon from the Elks and returns Monday.

Flag ceremony Saturday June 14th

Tomorrow Saturday June  14th there will be a flag ceremony at the Elks at 2:00PM.  For anyone who can make it, this is a great way to show support for the Elks Lodge for everything they do for our Troop. 

Important Summer Camp Reminder

Trip permission slips for summer camp are Past Due.  If you have not turned yours in, please be sure to see Patty tonight!

FINAL PAYMENTS for summer camp are also DUE tonight. 

We also have a new ´What to bring and what not to bring to camp´ list that will be available tonight as well as posted online soon.

This week Court of Honor

Reminder that this week is our end of year Court of Honor. At last week’s meeting Scouts were assigned either a side dish or dessert to bring to share with the Troop.  the Court of Honor will begin at 5:30 with dinner beginning about 6:00.

If you haven’t turned in medical forms for summer camp please turn them in at the Court of Honor.

June Family Camp Out in Lake George

We will be having a campout in June this year at Camp Wakpominee near Lake George, NY.   Scouts are welcome to bring their families for this great trip!
When: Friday 6/20 – Monday 6/23.
Cost: $60
Activites included in Cost: Steamboat Ride on Lake George,  visit to Fort William Henry, and a one day admission to Great Escape.  Your 6 Flags Season Pass can be used to reduce your cost for this trip.

We are looking for advanced notice to determine how many Great Escape tickets we need.  If you DID NOT sign up at tonight’s meeting, PLEASE reply to this post and indicate if you will need a Great Escape ticket and I will forward your name to Steve Johnston for his head count.

Permission slips will be posted shortly, as soon as they are available.

Summer camp payments past due

Summer Camp Final payments due date has past for pre-registered Scouts (non newly joined Scouts). Immediate action is required to avoid cost increases please! Contact Patty K to make arrangements, or Bill M on financial issues. Thank you!

Equipment return reminder

With our next camping trip coming up next week, it is important that any equipment from our April trip (especially tents) is returned, so it can be used on the Nickerson trip.  Please return any equipment you may have, no later than next week’s Troop meeting.
