Good Morning,
The weather held off last night and it was a very good night for deliveries and volunteers for routes. With another push we will wrap this up soon.
Saturday should be a big delivery day. Mike Pezzetti has volunteered to open the warehouse starting at 8 on Saturday and we will be bringing in a lite lunch at 11:45.
There are books staged outside the warehouse as I type this.
There are two routes left – Both are Rockville / Vernon and each route is less that 400 books.

Thank you,

This week’s meeting will be at the warehouse where we will have a phone book meeting, distribute routes, deliver some books and do for some advancement work. Please have the boys bring their scouting book.
Please note:
It may be raining – We have a route that is INSIDE THE MALL – 2 Teams could split this and knock it out quickly.
- A large percentage of the remaining routes are Rockville / Vernon
- They total less than 6,100 books
Thank you,
Jason

I was asked about patrols for new scouts. Typically the new boys would be their own patrol with an older boy assigned as their ‘guide’. We still have one meeting left after this week, before the campout, so please check in with one of our Troop leaders either tonight or at our next meeting if you have any additional questions.

Important Permission Slip Info
Going forward we are making the following changes to our Campout permission slip process.
- Going GREEN-er with permission slips online
- All Campout forms will be filled out online
- If you are unable to access the online form, email t2020ct@gmail.com for assistance
- Please print a copy of your completed form (attached to your confirmation email) and bring it to the Troop meeting on or before the due date on the form.
- If you are unable to print your form, or are unable to attend the meeting on the due date, email t2020ct@gmail.com for assistance
- All Campout forms will be filled out online
- Updated Payment methods:
- Payment options are now restricted to Cash & Account. Having payments by check makes it often impossible to provide money up front to all of our food shoppers. Having more cash payments will enable us to provide cash to more of our food shoppers so they do not need to pay out of their own pocket and wait for a reimbursement.
- Permission Slip Due Dates & Deactivation
- Due dates will be noted clearly in the top section of the online form.
- Online forms will be open for submission until 6:00PM on the due date.
- At 6:00PM the form will be deactivated to allow time for all submissions to be processed in time for the meeting.
We feel these changes will better meet the needs of our growing Troop as well as make the lives of those organizing Troop activities a little easier 🙂
