1 & 1/2 phone book routes available

We have approximately 300 books available to be delivered in Vernon. This would pay approx. $75.  If you’re interested, please contact Jason Lipman @ 860-268-0545.

I have just learned that we have a few routes that are open.  There are approximately 700 books that need a home (most have been bagged).  Please let me know if you are can take a route and have it completed and the route back to Bill Buller by Monday.

Fall Phone Books – Please read ASAP

Good Afternoon,

Product Development (the phone book company) advised Bill earlier today that they will be moving on to another part of the country early next week and that all routes must be completed Sunday with lists back to Bill no later than Monday.

Please let us know if you will not be able to complete your route(s) and we will look to re-distribute it.

Once you have completed your routes please drop them off to Bill at: 7 Crown Street in Vernon.

Court of Honor reminder

This week’s Troop meeting will be our Fall Court of Honor.  Scouts should be in their class A uniforms.  All parents are asked to attend.  Ice cream sundaes will be provided by the Troop after the ceremony. 

Fall Phone Book pick up times

Good Morning,

For anyone working with phone books, we currently have the following pick up times established.  We are using the same warehouse before.

Friday (today):

8 – 9 AM

5:30 to 6:30 PM

Saturday (tomorrow):

7:30 to 8:30 AM

After tomorrow’s pick up times we will review the situation and determine if additional pickup times are needed.

Fall Phone Book Delivery # 1

Good Morning,

Everyone who signed up for routes last week will be able to pick up their routes at the end of this week’s meeting.  Please remember that this year routes are being “assigned” and rather than open for “picking and choosing”.   The books and bags will be available for pick up on Friday (exact time and additional dates / times will be provided when the Route Bundles are distributed).

Fall Phone Book update

Good Morning,

Please note, we are no longer accepting requests to participate in the Fall Phone Book deliveries.  The first of the Fall Phone Books route numbers have come in and are being “assigned”.

We received information regarding these books at “the last moment” and it is a small set (29 routes) however, we anticipate a “second round” of fall deliveries beginning on or around December 2nd.  The December round is expected to be a blend of Troop and Scout participation.

We anticipate having the routes, phone books and bags ready for pick up this Thursday night at the warehouse.  I will provide another update no later than Tuesday.

Fall Phone Book Deliveries

Phone books are almost here!  This delivery event is optional and to earn money for your own scout account.  To see our fact sheet about fall phone book deliveries, go to our Phone Book page and look for our ‘Fall Phone Book Preliminary Info’ sheet.  The window to complete deliveries will be 10/9-11/1.  More info to come at tonight’s meeting.
