There is a committee meeting at Bill Magnotta’s house (53 Marjorie Lane in Vernon) on Tuesday, May 24th at 7:30 PM.

Volunteers Needed: Flag Day Ceremony – Sunday 6/12 @ 2:00 PM

There will be a Flag Day ceremony at the Elks on Sunday 6/12 @ 2:00 PM. Six scouts are needed. Please click here for the online signup sheet.

Troop 20/20 Family Fun Outing – Sunday 6/26

Tonight’s Troop Meeting

After the opening at tonight’s troop meeting the scouts will be walking up the street to 54 N. Park St. to work on fire building skills and to have a competition. Once they’re done they will head back down to the Elks for the rest of the meeting. The fire building activities should take about 45 minutes. Please dress appropriately for being outside. Also, a reminder that the scouts decided at last week’s troop meeting to wear class B uniforms to the remaining troop meetings this scouting year.

Confirmed COVID-19 Case

The Troop was notified that one person that attended the Troop meeting on 5/12 has tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19). Please be mindful about possible COVID-19 symptoms.

Reminder: Bring Bikes To Tonight’s Troop Meeting

Sweetwater bike trip participants: Bikes need to be brought to the troop meeting on Thursday 5/12. Don’t forget a helmet! No helmet = no bike ride!

THANK YOU, to our very supportive community! We have settled into a regular schedule now, and have many Regular Customers!

There are currently 3 Options to deposit your collection of Returnables:

• Option 1 (Preferred) – Drop-off; your returnables at the Rockville Elks Lodge 1359, Carriage House Basement Garage (all the way down around the back) Collection & Sorting Operations on Saturday between 9:00 AM and noon.
• Option 2 (by request) – Pick-up; Send an email to t2020ct@gmail.com with your local residential address; put your collection of returnables outside by 9:00 AM, and they will be picked up Saturday before Noon.
• Option 3 (scheduled) – Bulk, Towns other than Vernon / Ellington, other special circumstances; Send an email to t2020ct@gmail.com with your address & any other contact information in order to have a pick-up scheduled outside of our set day.
