Summer Camp Announcement
We are excited to announce that we are planning for Scout Summer Camp!!! In these uncertain times, things are always changing, but we’re optimistic that this is really going to happen. Camp will look a little different this year, and JN Webster is instituting protocols and procedures in order to keep everyone healthy and safe. More details to follow.
Date: Sunday, August 1- Saturday, August 7 (aka Week #6)
At this time, we are looking for an idea of how many scouts are interested in attending. We’d also love to see our Seniors return this year. If they have aged-out (over 18 years old), they will be able to attend as a Junior Assistant Scout Master which is actually less expensive.
Please contact Karen Yencho to let her know if you think your child will (or will not) attend Summer Camp this year. This is not a firm commitment, but rather to assess interest at this time.

- Option 1 (Preferred) – Drop-off; your returnables at the Rockville Elks Lodge 1359, Carriage House Basement Garage (all the way down around the back) Collection & Sorting Operations on Saturday between 9:00 AM and noon.
- Option 2 (by request) – Pick-up; Send an email to t2020ct@gmail.com with your local residential address; put your collection of returnables outside by 9:00 AM, and they will be picked up Saturday before Noon.
- Option 3 (scheduled) – Bulk, Towns other than Vernon / Ellington, other special circumstances; Send an email to t2020ct@gmail.com with your address & any other contact information in order to have a pick-up scheduled outside of our set day.

Troop Movie Night – Thursday 3/4 @ 7:00 PM
There will be a troop movie night held virtually only Thursday (3/4) starting at 7:00 PM.
The Patrol Leaders’ Council (PLC) voted to watch The Princess Bride. Each participant will be watching the movie on their own device. Options include streaming via Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, etc. or using their own copy of the movie. Zoom will be used so everyone can start the movie at the same time and chat during it if they’d like to.
